Web-Mail Application

Es wird bald einen webbasierten E-Mail-Client geben, über den man eine Übersicht über all seine E-Mail Konten hat. Dies ist besonders dann praktisch, falls man (so wie ich) viele E-Mail-Adressen besitzt und über diese Verwalten möchte.

Die Applikation kann

• E-Mails lesen und schreiben
• mehrere Postfächer verwalten
• bisher SMTP und IMAP (POP kommt evtl. später, finde ich persönlich obsolete, da moderne Hoster i.d.R. IMAP anbieten sollten)

Communication Center

Die Mail-Application und weitere Chat-, Twitter-, Myspace,- Applications bilden zusammen ein Communication Center, dass Übersicht über persönlich wichtige Aktivitäten im Internet bietet und einen schnellen Zugriff auf die Ressourcen ermöglicht.
